This chap made a valiant effort to defend his racist Party, but ultimately failed. The best thing the BBC ever did was to allow the odious Nick Griffin on to Question Time 5 years ago. Perhaps they should do the same with "Britain First" !

Dreadful. Well done to mikey I say for reminding us of the shocking nature of these people. I suspect Farage won't have appreciated the plug for his party from that particular quarter as a matter of fact... At least the BNP did have a few seats so probably deserved a bit of airtime, but I see no reason why BF should be accorded the same publicity. 56 votes and all...

So if it's not a fine Gromit, what WAS all that furore over 2/3 weeks ago?
But more than a scrap over some stolen dinner money, wasn't it?
It was nothing more than a shocking lie by Osborne and everyone from Joe Bloggs to Ed Balls saw it.
Bit more, not but. Hate posting via my iPhone from my pit(and I don't mean colliery, before the smartasses chip in!)
Thanks for the link Chill, it rather confirms it is an increased bill, NOT a fine.

We were threatened with a fine if we did not pay the bill, but we are paying.
I'll repeat, the AB lefty's are like those Japanese Snipers that used to turn up on Pacific Islands in the 1970s.
The war is over, guys. Every political party including your beloved Labour Party are in total agreement, ie, mass immigration was/is a discredited experiment. Get on message. Although I find it stomach-churning hypocrisy, Labour are attacking the coalition, at every opportunity, for not reducing immigration fast enough.
Spin, spin, spin..........
Totally concur with that last paragraph Svejk. I had to reach for a bucket when I heard Milibland berating Cameron over the latest migration figures.
Svejk, in reading my link you failed to acknowledge my comment 'those of us on here who take an interest are thereby excluded from seeing things as the vast majority of the populace do'. So no need for you to get all prissy dear heart.
If the Conservative Party hadn't been elected by PROMISING to reduce immigration to tens of thousands, then the Labour Party would have nothing to be them with.
As it is, immigration since Labour left office has increased annually.
I merely cut and pasted your condescending post, and viola, oh wise one. Lol.
So it is a problem then, gromit?
You mean you selectively cut and pasted to suit your own ends. My post was not condescending it is truthful. The vast majority of those eligible to vote are politically ignorant except for the red top headlines and the politicians who spin immigration figures to suit their eon ends, which is to be in power, at any cost. Hence conservative politicians defecting to UKIP when they see how the masses are being brain washed to vote for unsound and inexperienced parties such as UKIP.

----------------
Mr Clegg made promises too that weren't kept, hence there will be a changing of the guard shortly.
Farage is forthright about his promises, wonder what it is about his sincerity that is garnering so many votes?
Thanks for the 'heads up'.

Whilst the 'established' parties have made such an unqualified success of things and the public trust them implicitly you mean?

And the Tory Party, The Lib/Dems, UKIP, The Daily Mail, The Telegraph, The Times etc, etc.

Then some will have kept the Red Flag flying high, in remembrance of Joseph Stalin and Chairman Mao.

/// On a slightly different tack, I have warned about the rise of the Far Right many times on AB over the last few years. The Far Right is on the march all over Europe, as well as here in Britain. I personally never thought I would see the day when Nazis are looking for votes again in Britain. It seems that Mosley and the Blackshirts are a lesson that has been forgotten. ///

We have just as much to worry about over the Far-Left, but then they are not so open about their views plus the fact that they don't receive the same amount of publicity as the Far-Right.

But to compare the BNP, UKIP, or Britain First as Nazis is just plain ridiculous especially if one has actually faced the wrath of the Nazis.

/// I wonder if the BNP conference is in the Tower Ballroom at Blackpool? ///

/// If so, I wonder what steps will be taken? ///

Goose steps according to mikey.

/// I share your concern methyl, the UKIP situation too closely parallels Germany in the Thirties for me. ///

You are old enough to remember them are you?

Well I am and personally I haven't seen UKIP, dragging Jews or anyone else for that matter into ghettos and death camps, or even daubing their slogans and Insignia on their opponents doors and windows.
What age were you when the Nazis assumed power in Germany?
