Currently watching Sky News who are interviewing MP's as they leave Parliament.
If any ABer is near the Palace of Westminster could you please go and lamp that d!ck with the Don't Bomb Iraq poster on a stick.
The Iraq government have invited Coalition Forces there with the express purpose of Tomahawking ISIL into the sand so his banner is somewhat defunct.

Ta very much.

None of the armchair Generals on AB can provide a definite answer as how to eradicate ISIL so don't knock it until the strategy of those who really are in the know unfolds. Try e-mailing RAF Leuchars and see if they can get a Typhoon to have a negligent discharge over P.O.W. en route to accomodate Iraq's request
Yes I saw that. But then do you really expect his sort to understand what is going on or proposed?

I wonder if he has ever paid tax or if you and I are funding him to stand there like a c*ck.
He is perfectly within his rights to peacefully protest if he cares to.

There are many who are against the bombing of Iraq myself included, it will not solve this problem, only bring it to our country, would we also bomb Israel if Palestine asked us to?

I believe the enemy lies within so the problem is already here. I agree with you about rights to peaceful protest but I believe there is/was a statute prohibiting demonstrations within a certain distance from the P.O.W. although to preserve Public Order the police seem to turn a blind eye to that old statute.
AOG, Do you have an alternative solution that will stop the barbaric acts of beheading captives? If so I would like to hear it.
AOG and Swampy are bedfellows?

I think I need to log off.

In case you hadn't noticed, fundamentalist Islam is already here and has been for some time.

/// In case you hadn't noticed, fundamentalist Islam is already here and has been for some time. ///

And apart from the soldier that was beheaded have there been any more such incidents, and you really think that the bombing of Iraq will get rid of the fundamentalist here in the UK. LOL

I would have thought the opposite.
I agree with anotheoldgit.

Just let that sink in for a moment.

No neither do I have a solution to the slaughter of innocents by Israel in Palestine, the horrific killings of Gays in certain other countries, the inhuman treatment of females in other countries, the slaughter of Christians in other countries etc etc.

Do you suggest that we bomb all those countries also, or are you just selective?

Don't worry about it Kromo, it may only be a passing condition. :0)

Non of these other conflicts you mention directly pose a threat to us, nor have they beheaded any captives.

I expect there will be collateral damage and that will be regretful but, unfortunately, sometimes unavoidable. The MOD are quite prudent where they dump their ordnance to best effect. It costs us taxpayers a lot of money so the RAF will no doubt provide a useful bang for our buck. There will,no doubt be sneaky beakies well ensconced on the ground already processing intel. There will be drones in the air monitoring ISIL movements and training camps to give good target acquisition. Be patient and don't try try to formulate strategy at home with out the necessary intel first. I always like the quote that "evil will flourish if good men do nothing" or words to that effect. I would imagine that nothing could turn an ISIL terrorists blood to ice cold water better than seeing your mates in a pick up in front being vapourised from a silent ,unseen source before your eyes.Boots on the ground might be the only other alternative but it is very hard to eradicate a cancer totally. Effective force may only be a sticking plaster but not for the long term.Islamic fundamentalists and other pernicious terrorist groups will always be lurking in the background as long as we have the likes of Anjem Chouadray and his other rats on the streets of this and other countries.
So AOG, you are going to let ISIS go on beheading foreigners, gouging the eyes out of victims, extortion and rape en masse. How very considerate of you and, overtly, frankly disgusting.

You don't even come up with a counter strategy to haul them in. I suggest that we give you a chance to lay out your arguments for putting ISIS back in their box or annihilation of them, for the benefit of all manind ......

DTC

you seem to be presupposing that air strikes will prevent those awful acts

how is that exactly?
Air strikes will not prevent terrorism on British soil - but doing nothing won't either. In the absence of opposition IS will continue to spread its evil and will eventually present an even greater threat.
