How cool is that.

Does everyone with a smart phone have this app?

Mind you ... that's Coalition night club for you ... den of thieves ... wouldn't catch me going there ... ahem ... (tries to whistle and look nonchalant)

These apps are dangerous apps to have as they can be used by stalkers, psychos and thieves to find your location and take pictures without you knowing of you, your house and family etc.. I avoid these like the plague.

ps. I know it's quite an old article ...before anyone points it out ... but I haven't seen it before.

Yikes ... caught with the hot phone ... I was framed guv, straight up.
Does anyone know what the app is?
"the woman might not be the thief"

Maybe not but she is either a lucky finder who is anxious that the phone is returned to the right owner, or a receiver of stolen good, aware or unaware. In either case I'm sure she'll want to come forward and clear her name.

I don't have one that photographs anyone but I have them that locates the phone, can block or wipe it and/or start it alarming. Just have to remember how if I ever have need to use it.
If she's convicted, maybe a cell phone?
I doubt they'll catch you after all this time.
you get the block, alarm and so on on find my iphone along with the phone. I jus t wondered what the one was that takes a photo and how it knows its a thief and not me messing up the lock code as usual
she must have it on roaming at the moment, Sipowicz
Don't think I did, I downloaded an app.

OG ... I think it's likely that she had stolen it, but they added that bit "just in case".

I suppose it's possible, for instance, that she had found the phone and was trying to turn it on to find the owners details and return it to them.

Because people who go to Coalition are generally very, very nice people.

:0)
woofgang, I shouldn't think it cares who you are, it just sends you the photo. If it's you, you can delete it.

Cautionary words from Noodle gets Best Answer.
Surely they woyuld need to install it on your phone and change the settings to send them the info/picture ? If so it all seems a little unlikely.
