My friend and his family were about six cars back, as he said, very scary. What worried him more though, was having to drive past a burning vehicle that could have exploded as any minute. Still, glad everyone was OK!

lions aren't necessarily going to jump into a fire either, even with the prospect of a BBQ
Question Author
no but they would jump on the humans who get out the car most likely, unless they were drugged for the safety of the visitors.

Sometime since I've been there, but the amount of life I've seen in them I thought they were stuffed!
Question Author
i didn't want to go particularly, but was persuaded, can't remember much apart from the monkeys trying to rip bits off the car

Question Author
no they weren't in any danger, oh dear
I also doubt that a pride of well fed lions would rush over to attack, but I have no desire to test that theory.
Question Author
i would think the rangers are armed, wouldn't you.
Question Author
Frank me neither,

i still think it would be horrible to have to make the choice, whether you think they were in danger or not
They are too well fed to be attacking humans. They see humans every single day and humans provide lots of food (not human meat) so it's not like they'd be viewed as a threat.
Question Author
would you like to take that chance, there is a reason there are rangers about, and you are told to stay in the cars, they are not all docile.

i thought the monkeys were a rabble, we came away minus windscreen wipers and others bits off the car,
I wouldn't like to. If that was my car with my children in the back, i would be panicking. I nearly got out last year in that enclosure. Non-stop traffic jam and desperate for a wee. They looked sleepy...but... i waited.
I don't think anyone would like to take the chance but to me it wouldn't be a dilemma. Get out of the burning car...
Question Author
i didn't like it for the reasons that i don't care for zoos, animal parks,
but someone wanted to go, so we went

Question Author
come on, how would you feel if your vehicle overheats then catches fire,
i don't think they over egged the pudding on this one. the mother and children were clearly upset.
Question Author
i don;t read stories like that as its usually on breaking news on tv, and once is generally enough, especially if there are casualties. The Ferry going down in South Korea is an horrific story, i confess i posted on that, but it upset me a lot, seeing as how there were hundreds of school children on board, not to say that if it was all adults i wouldn't be.
