Do mobile phones automatically re-set back the hour?

I don't think mine does. Changed it a few hours ago when I remembered.
If it does change I'll be well out of sync in the morning.

Some do, some don't. Look through your time/date settings.

ooo there's an option to set daylight saving time, if i put an x in the little box does it change automatically?

I've got an iPhone and it does change by itself (or the happy pixies do it).

Well I have just looked at mine and find that it has a setting to change it to 'ON' so fingers crossed that it works. :) Thanks SlackAlice.

not sure why but even though i activated the day light saving time option, my phone didn't automatically go back an hour at 2am ans so i had to alter it myself,

Mine is a nokia music xpress (quite old now) and I have it set to adjust automatically. If it features on your phone you have to go into settings and go from there.
