Today on T.V. They where singing the national anthem, after singing one verse they thought it was over and Camilla raised a fist in triumph, then they started the second verse, I fell about laughing, does anyone have a link?

I don't have a link but I noticed at one point Camilla and Kate having a fit of the giggles. They kept trying to control themselves but couldn't. I was laughing at them.

I saw it too, Charles raised his fist too (hoping it was over lol?) but the guy who did the speech did say they would sing the first two verses (why?). Rather embarrassing for the royals methinks especially as two verses are hardly ever sung. Don't have a link unfortunately but someone might put one up.

It was on in the morning when Charles and Camilla were visiting places and attended a street party - before the river pageant.

When I was at school, long time ago, the speaker of our forthcoming Speech Day had made a comment in the Press having a go at teenagers who didn't know the Natonal Anthem.
We the Sixth Form printed of three verses and told the whole school to learn it, after the obligatory first first everyone went on singing. The Head was purple with anger, but at the end the Speaker simply said Touchee (can't do accents), turned to the Head and said No recriminations please!
