Do you find it annoying when members here refer to others by their (presumably) real names and not their user names? To me it seems to confuse those of us who are not "in the know".

Nope. If people refer to each other by another name (or an abbreviation), the ABer must have shared that information.

Rabet, the only person I address with their real name is Chris for two reasons: he has said that it's his name, and it's a lot easier to type than Bueonochio (see what I mean::). I know Ummmmm's real name (I forget how that came about) but I don't use it. What does annoy me at times is that you join in and you get talked around: the rest seem to know each other quite well and ignore others.

I don't know anybody's name on here apart from Chris's I do often shorten long user names, especially if they have strings of numbers in.

Prudie, yes, you used "Stewey". Now this is weird: go to my present profile; click on "answers"; go to my post of 15:13 on May 24; and click on my last entry...Isn't that strange?
