Mine varies from being an excited little girl to being a teen then a grown up

I saw Mommy kissing Santa Clause and the Christmas Alphabet , loved Dickie Valentine

Then I suppose it was the classics like Jingle Bells and Frosty the Snowman ( the clean versions a-hem )
Now Slade and The Pogues ,it was kinda bittersweet when I was ironing just now ,to hear Slade on the radio and to think it was only two years ago when the dance floor was full as we sang and danced to it :0(

Barsel - pleasure. Remember watching it at the time.
Peace on Earth, Bing Crosby and David Bowie
The Pogues and Kirsty
Silent Night by all sorts of people

And Oh Holy Night.
I love:

Silent Night
Fairytale of NY
Santa Baby
Mary's Boy Child
Rocking Around The Christmas Tree

There are probably only a small handful I don't like.
Last Christmas. Is my favourite Xmas song
Question Author
I think it’s mine as well Postman, it epitomises Christmas for me
Working in a supermarket at this time of year is terrible. I am heartily sick of Xmas songs and still nearly a fortnight to go. :((

However I do have a favourite

Little Saint Nick - The Beach Boys
Most that aren't the Pogues or Maria Carey.
Hmmmm. So Mr Av. You don’t like The Pogues?!
This is played every Christmas Eve. The full album.

Although it’s not really a Christmas song, it still gets cast as one and played a lot at this time of year, I love Jonah Lewie’s Stop the Cavalry.

Also The Pogues and Kirsty of course.
You don’t like The Pogues?!

Not a lot, gness. I didn't like that Christmas record when it came out and have grown to dislike it more with every passing year.
Not sure if it’s appeared on this thread yet, but my favourite (forgive me) is underneath the tree by Kelly Clarkson - it has everything I love about a Christmas song.

The worst Xmas song of all time is Do They Know it’s Christmas; I can’t bear it, it offends my ears, and I have to turn it off. I watched a Paul Weller documentary some time ago and he was asked why he looked so miserable in the video, and his succinct reply was “because it was a dreadful song”. I couldn’t have agreed more.

I quite like this one, apart from wizard of course.
The Pogues
Mariah Carey

;-)
Oi missy ^^^^^^
I believe in father Christmas by greg lake.
"Christmas 1915"
and
"Fairytale of New York"
