Corbyn Doing His Job As Leader Of The Opposition
There is a lot of opprobrium given out to Corbyn, but judging by his performance at PMQs, he seems to rather good at holding dave's feet to the fire.

Early doors, but independent observers (Quentin Letts apart) seem to think that Corbyn has won the last two PMQs. But they are small victories and there is a long time before the next election. At any rate, Corbyn is doing better than Miliband, who was very poor as Opposition leader. For me the jury is still out as to his long term effectivenes

Rather than Corbyn doing well, it sounds like the Tories handed him an easy victory.

//again, to describe Prime Minister’s Questions. I have been avoiding long reports of it recently because Mr Corbyn has made it so dull. Yesterday he did not complete his questions until 17 minutes past the hour – more than half the allotted time.
His gambit of glaring at the Tory benches when they are shouting at him is fast losing any effect it had. All it does is waste time, robbing backbenchers, not least his own, of a chance to put David Cameron on the spot.
Yesterday the PM found ways of restoring some bite to proceedings. The dullard Corbyn, again raising tax credits, ill-advisedly mentioned ‘serving soldiers’ and wanted to know what effect the Tory proposals would have on military wages.
It was easy for Mr Cameron to point out that Mr Corbyn wanted the Armed Forces to be scrapped. ‘That serving soldier wouldn’t have a job if he got anywhere near power,’ said Mr Cameron.
That was the end of Corbyn for the day, I’m afraid. Obliteration.//

The subject isn't really dead after the Lords vote. Osborne has to bring fresh proposals, and asking what they might be is a legitimate question.
The Government have briefed that no one will be worse off after the change, but no Minister will go on record saying it. So duplicity makes easy pickings for Corbyn.

Us two may not share the same political views on much, apart from the evils of smoking and the mistake that was made with the hiving off ...sorry...selling off of council housing stock, and not allowing the proceeds to be used to build replacement housing.
But Corbyn has rejuvenated the Labour Party and encouraged many thousands of new Members. He seems to have the knack of asking very simple but awkward questions, that dave has great difficulty in answering !
Whether he will succeed in winning the next General Election remains to be seen, but dave has a wafer-thin working majority of just 12, and as time goes on and the massive cuts really start to bite, who knows what will happen in 2020.
Will the electorate still vote Tory when the Police have had their numbers slashed, and can no longer afford to investigate crime properly, the NHS continues to struggle, millions of hard working voters have had their incomes cut, Libraries are closed, our streets are dirty and unlit, etc, etc ?
Now let me ask you a question...due you expect dave to fight the next Election, as Leader of the Tories ?
