Background music Radio London

I can`t do links but on Danny Baker`s Radio London 1500hrs show today there was some background music playing at 1:20.06. I`m sure I remember this music being the theme to a TV series when I was a kid. I can`t for the life of me remember what it was. The music brings back a feeling of either an exotic place or something to do with the sea. Does anyone know what show it was?

Gosh, thanks. I did think it was Robinson Crusoe and went onto a website called televisiontunes.com but a different song came up.
Was that it? It was just a guess. I didn't hear the Radio London programme. I must admit it's not the version of the tune I remember.

I have now attached the version I remember

No, it`s definitely the first version that you posted. That`s the one I remember. I`ve played that down the phone to a couple of people tonight. My sister straight away knew that it was the Robinson Crusoe theme. One person thought it was the theme to Roots but I knew it wasn`t that.
