It would be a toss up between Bridge Over Troubled Waters and Blood On The Tracks. They're the only albums I can think of apart from compilations that I like every track
Queen 2. They reached their peak with the second album.
Stormcock[I by Roy Harper. Just four long tracks by an acoustic genius. Robert Plant agrees.

Or Pink Floyd's [I]A Momentary Lapse of Reason]
So much for italics!
Godbluff by Van der Graaf Generator.

BTW, paddy, singular water for Paul & Artie... ;-)
Pink Floyd - The Final Cut.
Hmmm, for me it would have to be something by Zappa, difficult to pick just one though. So I think I'd plump for Thing Fish, love that album!
Zappa, eh? Difficult to choose, but Apostrophe, One Size Fits All and Sheik Yerboutie are hard to beat, IMO...
Hearsay by Alexander O'Neal, if I were to be marooned.
Parlotones Stardust Galaxies
or maybe a compilation of 80s tracks... so I could wallow in some very dodgy memories
Agreed Mark, all good albums any of which I'd be quite happy to have with me.
Rapskallion 'One up for the Little Man' - Australian folk/jazz/klezmer/vaudeville makes my feet tap and my mouth smile.
If pushed, Coldplay's Viva La Vida, but I'd much rather make up my own playlist.
Something for me that changes constantly between a bout 5 albums.

Who's Next - The Who to me the best rock album

The Kick Inside - Kate Bush. The first time I heard it I was hooked and still am.

Goodbye Yellow Brick Road - Elton John An album for everything, never tire of it.

Rumours - Fleetwood Mac An album for all seasons

Hunky Dory - David Bowie. Iloved Bowie up until Station to station then lost interest a superb album
> Bowie up until Station To Station then lost interest

Really? No Low, "Heroes", Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps), Let's Dance, Earthling, etc...?
It has got to be Queen 2 for me too.
Mark I was a rock man all the way, I always thought, and still do, that he sold his fans out moving to soul I never bought another album of his after Diamond Dogs (Pin ups??) Then the Victoria station thing came up.
Flesh and Blood by Roxy Music
Any by Sade.
Tubular Bells (Boxed Set) for me :-)

You'll have to bear with me because I don't really know what I am talking about with these songs.  I got a tape from the library (yes, a tape) about 9 years ago which had some of the best dance...
