Hello, I am trying to identify music that has come up in at least two shows from the '60s. It is psychedelic jazz music featuring guitar, lead organ and lead sax.

The music appeared in the 1967 Spiderman Cartoon and was also heard in the 1966 Doctor Who story, The War Machines (during the Inferno club scenes).

It seems to come up a lot but I have no idea who the artist is; it is one of those things that is hard to describe with words but if you are familiar with the shows that I mentioned you would know the music immediately.

I hope you can lend some assistance in this matter.

Thank you.

Several tracks from the album 'The Mood Modern" by Johnny Hawksworth were used for the Inferno Club. CD still available at various sites.

Kawakiri, thank you fro your answers. The Wiki Doctor Who link stated the information plain and simple - I am now trying to find copies of the Johnny Hawksworth album and/or the Spider-Man album. I think I have succeeded finding the Spider-Man album.

Cheers,

Louis
