Is this an expensive repair. AA said it was sticking & stopped the car starting.
prev Can Anyone Reccommend An Insurance Approved Car Tracker For A Bmw X6 At A Reasonable Price Please. My Son Has Just Bought This And The Insurance Won't Cover Theft Without One.

Depending on your car, it could be an integral part of the starter motor, so you might like to price that. Your local main dealer should give you a price for the repair; a non-franchised garage will do it more cheaply but it will give you a maximum price.

Depending on the car it's as cheap to get a recon one, to remove the started on some motors are a right pain in the rs, it's time mainly, the job does not take that long to do.
