Rover 620 Electric Windows

When the button for the electric window (driver`s side) is pressed the glass nearly falls out. Is it the motor at fault, or has the glass fallen off it`s runner? Can anybody help and is it easy to fix?

Probably come off runners.
Take off inside panel and have a look.

As SirOracle says, it's probably come off the runner. I used to own a 620 and found that if the door was closed with the window down, the glass came out of the runner, usually the front one. It was simply a matter of replacing the glass in the runner and holding it in place while closing the window.
