Does anyone agree that last night's episodes were a bit of a damp squib? I expected Karl's exposure and exit to be a lot more dramatic. I was really disappointed and as for Dev's acting - shame Karl didn't kill him as well!

I agree with you. I would have thought anyone in Dev's position would have told those gathered at the wedding exactly what Karl had done, instead he played the part of Mr Cool (and not very well!)

The whole storyline of Craig thinking he had set fire to The Rovers was totally unbelievable, and seemed to come out of the blue after several months. And at no time do I remember him telling Karl that he had seen Him (Karl) coming out of The Rovers at the time of the fire, so there was no reason for Karl to be worried about what Craig might say. Preposterous !

Craig did say he say Karl - he said he saw him come out of the back door and Craig ran off.

Dev's (the person who plays him) acting is atrocious and has been for many years especially when he slowly speaks and mumbles his script and drags it out.

brainiac, Craig did tell Karl that he saw him coming out of the Rovers but I do agree it was a daft storyline. There's no way Craig would think that he had caused the fire. Yes, chrissa, I was shouting, 'Blow the lighter out!' Will Stella and Dev eventually get together??

Does anyone else think that they may have had to alter the planned ending to this story line because Tommy is no longer in Corrie?

Could have, sherr. Now he's confessed, they wouldn't have to go through Tommy's photos, which they might have been planning to do before.

Yes I thought it was a bit of a let down, and yes why didn't Stella just blow the lighter out?! I don't know why Dev acted so cool at the wedding instead of telling everyone what Karl had done. It was stupid when Karl held Stella hostage in the cellar.

Emmerdale seem to be doing a much better job with the final part of the Cameron storyline. I'll be glad to see the back of him!

Strange...but haven't seen The Street for years....but did see some of last nights. Laughable....was he threatening to torch the place with a lighter and Whisky? It just wouldn't work...no flammable vapour off a bottle of spirits. Daft beyond belief!

I know that Dj, but he would have had to be seen in following episodes, showing the photos to e cops again. Maybe.

I enjoyed all of Friday night's Corrie, the only thing I thought was daft was (like others have said on here) that Stella could have easily blown that lighter out !

I thought it was very poor acting by the whole cast and in real life the police wouldn't have been so dim not to have worked out who the investigating officer was more quickly. On the whole, 'pathetic'.
