I watched the final episode of DH last Tuesday, I couldn't help but think, wasn't she a great actress to work right up until the end, she died last Saturday.

So sad, she was fab. Just as a side note, the final episode is on Sunday, repeated next Tuesday.

Haven't seen DH for ages, I did like that programme very much. She should have been in it more imo. Was sorry to have read in the paper that she had died.

Very sad and how ironic that she died in DH of the same condition. I loved her sense of humour as Mrs. McCluskey.

we had the final episode here (ireland)last week v&k, and we had DH parties all over the place.

Your grand V, it was great, just felt sad for her as I watched it, knowing she had passed, but it was ace :)

I know you can't believe anything the papers say, but they did report that she had asked for her condition to be written into her character.

Wonderful actress and not given enough recognition imo.

it's true alba, Marcia Cross was on talk show over here and said just that about Kathryn Joosten (Karen) she was really funny and they should have made more of a fuss of her and draw out her character from the start

What an amazing lady & amazing programme. TV won't be the same. Will any series ever deliver the same mixture of laughter, tears, quirkiness and just sheer all round entertainment?

It is very sad. She was a great actress.

Loved DH but I think there was more drama going on behind the scenes than in front!
