Oh, dear.

I haven't seen this episode yet. I guess the person was very nervous and had brain freeze

Surely everyone knows it's the Royal Marsden.

I didn't know 😧

(nor did I)

The Battersea Dogs Home...

Oh, was the answer just to be 'a hospital'? The 'what building' is could be ambiguous...it sounds a little specific.

Question Author

16:15/16:17 You didn't know a surgeon worked in a hospital? Seriously?

I'll go even further. Never heard of the programme so would have had no idea of the answer. Or is TTT  just trying to wind up AB again?

^@16.21...yep, it's his only reason for watching this show, apparently.

Perhaps he could visit this particular building and get the Super Surgeons to fix his dodgy bladder.

(Awaiting a witty reply, my old china .)

Question Author

16:21 but you know a surgeon works in a hospital right? the TV program is irrelevant it's just a roundabout way of asking where a surgeon works.

If that was how the question was phrased, it suggests to me they were wanting the name of a specific hospital. What sort of building or similar would suggest the answer was just hospital.

Question Author

they want the obvious even if you had no clue you'd say "hospital". If it was a specific hospital they'd have said "which Hospital....etc"

I'd have thought the question was asking for the name of a specific hospital.

If they were looking for 'hospital' as an answer I think they would have asked 'what type of buiding...'

Question Author

17:29 "I'd have thought the question was asking for the name of a specific hospital." - read my post at 16:50

my thought too, newmodarmy.

17:31 also see my 16:50 post.

none the less, that's three people who didn't understand the question, indicating it might have been more clearly put.

Question Author

Of course they did they are just pretending, to make some sort of point. Unless you are illiterate the question is clear as is the answer.

The question just says 'What building' - that does imply a sopecific building. I  would have expected that the required answer would be a specific, rather than a type, as well.

So that's quite a few of us would have hesitated.  A poorly phrased  question i.m.o..
