I read his book, he had a hard upbringing, living on a farm when he was unable to save the life of a lamb made him want to heal animals, not all vets agree with some of the things that he does, but having read about his early life I can understand why he does what he does. I love anyone who is this kind to animals, there is a lot of cruelty in the world of animals, read his...

I’m recording it LB, I love Noel Fitzpatrick
Eeek...not yet! Will watch on 4 + 1 at 9pm.

Bobbi I reckon every animal lover in the UK loves him. His love for the animals is clear to see.
Sorry Pasta, I don't mean to give a spoiler but as we don't know what happens yet I plead Not Guilty. But be prepared with tissues for the first 5 minutes. ENJOY! xx
He’s got an amazing way with people as well as the animals he treats
I don't love him and I hate the series

My only criticism is the hyping up by the commentator of almost every op Noel carries out saying it is groundbreaking, first in the world, never been done before, very dangerous and zillions of things can go wrong.
However, seeing how much the animals are loved and how precious they are to their owners and when the little patients wag their tails after the op, or purr as the case may be, is heartwarming.
I think the good far outweighs the not so good.
Why don't you like it Woof?
I think he's amazing but I have to avoid any programmes about animals where they are sick or injured or cruelly treated. I get too upset.

Its not very often a pet is not fixed on Supervet although it does happen but rarely thank goodness. It's mainly a feel good programme, for me anyway. Don't let that stop you from watching it apc.
He’s a pioneer , pure and simple, but with a heart of gold
Question Author
He is a pioneer Bobbi, we all know he is, so I've no idea why the commentator has to mention it week after week at every opportunity. I love him as well and wouldn't knowingly miss a programme.
I think there is a trend in some vets now to go too far in surgery on animals. Animals don't know they will feel better, all they know is NOW that there is fear, pain, splints, restrictions and so on. Its a fine line to walk and I am not sure that vets of this ilk always get it right. And I LOATHE that this man has made it into tearjerker TV.
and lets not forget he's a very RICH pioneer.
Can I suggest that they only show the happy endings?
It's worth it for the happy endings. I *do* think he's aware of the line woofgang mentions, since he talks about it so often.
//I've no idea why the commentator has to mention it week after week at every opportunity. //
The narrator usually doesn't choose what is said...they are reading a script. And I'm sure the repetition is there for the rare person who's never heard of the Supervet.
Yes, I watched it lb and I just loved the way he fell for that gorgeous little pup and couldn't resist a last cuddle when he finally went home with his 'family'. He did an amazing job on that daschund (can't spell that), let's face it, it would have been put to sleep years ago.

Woof, he does not have a lot of money, he is up to his ears in debt because of the scale of the building and all the wages he pays and the very many treatments he pays for himself because he hates to let people down who don't have the money. Also, he does show unhappy endings and when a pet dies there is always a memoriam at the end of the show to that particular pet. There was one in this series.

I would love to meet this wonderful man.
Me too HereIam, such a very caring nature, I once saw him interviewed and he said he’d had the chance of marriage etc but his love for the animals always came first with him
I saw that Bobbs. Him and Paul O'Grady my very favourites !
Paul should be given a gong too to make him a Sir rather than the ones that get them for nothing at all
The vet 'Noel' seriously plays up to the camera -can't stand the man I really can't. He may be a pioneer but he could do his work with a bit more dignity and less self promoting.
As for programmes like these , I avoid them. I've seen enough Vets in real life creaming life savings off of poor folks trying to save their pets, when they would be better off being put out of their misery.
