Watching it now, 23, very touching and moving, really very good so far.
A bit of a difference next couple of nights.....tomorrow evening seeing Jo Brand in Worthing and Thursday night....The Corrs at the Royal Albert Hall, London....very near the front too, so will give my best smile & goggle eyes to Andrea....swoon!
It was on Channel 4 last night. I did make a note but went away to work and forgot about it. It's a documentary that was made in the last year of his life. As yogi says it was very moving
My 'significant other' is occasionally crying.....she adored him and his music....she saw him many more times than me in concert and was at the London one, shown directly after the film last night....I sadly, and to my regret, due to clashing commitments, wasn't.
yogi - I saw him in December 2006 at Wembley. He sang Last Christmas which we were privileged to hear because he wasn`t a fan of the song. The following year I saw him at Plymouth when I happened to be home in Devon. It wasn`t long after my Dad died but I don`t remember feeling any sadness at all because the concert was so good and we were right up the front within touching distance.
I didn't watch it as I know that Iwould cry!
I saw him in 86 at Wham the Final he was a genuine kind person who wanted to be loved and to find love. So sad
