Shame Caribeing, there have been some wonderful displays of talent and tears.
Noooo, it's been amazing. I love it. I watch even the boring old discus where we have no GB competitors.

Oh but don't worry, football's back on soon. (Yawn) or at least you can watch men watching a match.
Well I watched it tonight but not much during the week. It was only on for a few days after all so if you didnt want to watch it theres always plenty of alternatives-read a book for example.
I don't watch much sport at all now, but I don't mind the re-scheduling.

I always have something else to do.
Yes, me too Mamya.
I usually enjoy it but I did find it boring on BBC this evening as the was too much discussion and not enough sport. The high jump was on, but we only saw the GB competitor and the winning jump, before we were back in the studio listening to more chit chat. The same happened to the decathlon, we saw nothing but one throw of the final javeline event . I lost interest in the end, but thankfully turned back in time for the mens relay. Hoorah, good for us!
^^^ I'm not a great fan of athletics (or, indeed, telly) anyway but it does annoy me that all the attention seems to be given to sprint events, with distance running (which requires far more skill and craftsmanship) being given less attention and field events being almost totally ignored.
Running round and round, jumping about and chucking things pretty-well sums athletics up. About as interesting as watching one's toenails grow. Mind you, football is very little better!

has to be better than 2 weeks of wimbledonzzzzzzzzzz
Yes every time Bernie! And whilst we can switch if our televisions and go do something else instead, its a shame to have to for such a long time, even at news time.
Sports viewing on TV should be encouraged, gets the wee cherubs away from the iPad .
it can be an issue if sport is on the majority of main stream telly..like today...athletics and rugby taking huge chunk from afternoon viewing on 2 channels... although there are many others granted....
