watched garden rescue BBC1 ..what has hapened to Charlie Dimmock ? she has morphed into a gargantuan size and now waddles instead of walks...would expect all that outdoors work to keep her trim...but she must spend all her time scoffing from the BBQ..really shocked..anyone seen it ?

I can’t quite work out what overweight people posting on AB has to do with it but I saw her on television a little while ago and was quite shocked at the change in her.

not at all Ummmm..my point was the deteriation in her practical abilities which were reflected by her physical change..unhealthy and I would imagine concerning ..the heart asking to be pushed by exertion when already under stress...for purely that reason a weight loss would, in my opinion, be advisable..

Lol....The tone of your initial post was less obvious concern about her health and everything to do with her having 'scoffed' her way to a gargantuan size....

I wonder if she has asthma, or similar, which if treated with steroids will account for both her size and her breathlessness?

But, hey, let's not take time to fully consider anything like that, let's just comment that she's a big wheezy heifer.....

nothing cuddles..was shocked at the change in her and the limitations that they have clearly caused...that's all...one can be any size one wants..'tis up to one's own judgement and criteria in life !

When she did garden makeover programme years back how do we know she didn't get out of breath then? These programmes are heavily edited.

I'm a size 10...I bet she's fitter than me.

I watched most of the last series and if I'm honest I was a bit taken aback at how much Charlie had changed since Ground Force days then I realised how long ago that was. I do not know why she has gained weight nor is it any of my business. I am no perfect specimen myself so I do not judge ... glass houses and stones.
