It's a shame that a good-looking woman can't simply accept ageing gracefully.
I never know what she has done because I never ever watch her on TV, I absolutely can't abide her.
She has that foghorn laugh/ terrified face combination of the terminally humourless.
She laughs when other people laugh, but you can see that she unsure what is funny – if anything.
Watching her interaction with Richard Whitely, who was similarly unaffected by anything approaching a sense of humour was priceless. They always laughed nervously, but clearly neither of them ever knew why.

She's also one of the few women I can't stand. Used to admire her so much in the early days when she was an intelligent woman but it was the constant selling of products that people believed in because it was her was so dishonest. her constant surgery and trying to transform herself into a buxom vamp was just desperate.
Me and the missus noticed her face straight away, when she came on.
Like already said, why can't some people just age gracefully?
I just checked and she turns 56 at the end of this year .... c'mon, surely she should just accept that there will be a few wrinkles, etc to be expected. Instead, she decides to try and hold back the years .... the result - a face with bulging cheeks that looks so unnatural it's actually cringe worthy .....

I didn't see the Pride of Britain, but saw a photo in a magazine article recently where she looked very hamster like.
However, what can beautiful women in the public eye do? If they have Botox, people say they should grow old gracefully and not make themselves look weird. If they don't, people point out their flabby or wrinkly bits and put them on the "Sidebar of Shame".
I think Carrie Fisher, for example, is still very beautiful and even more attractive because she has great character, but she's always being pointed out with the headline "Look how Carrie Fisher has aged."

andy, surely you know that if a woman wants to stay on telly (or in films) she has to look young. No way you'll ever see a woman looking the natural way David Attenborough does.

He always looks really terrible in a really unusual way.
The colour and design of almost everything he wears is really strange, and you never see anything remotely similar on anyone else. It may be that he has his own personal designer - there's a thought!
