He asked for not very much, and got less.
Some negotiation!
Before the debate kicks off and before we get sidetracked by the usual moans about 3Ts use of Cockney Rhyming Slang:

“My arris = My Aristotle = My Bottle and Glass = My Rump (this version has been edited for broadcast before the 9 o’clock watershed).

“Me old china” = Me old China Plate = Me Old Mate.

Yes, DC did indeed ask for next to nothing and has got a little less than that. Each of the so-called concessions which the Euromaniacs seem they may agree to are simply temporary changes which can (and will) be withdrawn at any time (i.e. as soon as the UK votes to remain). The entire “renegotiation” has been a sham and Mr Cameron will return, as did Neville Chamberlain, with a piece of paper which, worthless as it is, will be swiftly shredded after June 23rd (or whenever). Anyone seriously believing that the EU will change should look at the newspapers from the last 40 years. It don’t happen and it ain’t gonna happen.

Anyone wanting a few more details of what is in store for the next generation should this one be foolish enough to vote to stay in the EU may care to glance at my last reply to this question:

This is the ONLY chance you will ever have. Make sure you do the right thing for your children and your children's children (and for me and 3Ts as well).
So good to see you back, NJ and thank you for the elucidation of the rhyming slang - I could do 'China', but 'arris' had me baffled.

I echo your valedictory comments with passion. Have you heard about the proposed 'solidarity principle'? Implications are enormous.

the silence from the anti British is deafening. Why is the Obvious answer the last one anyone will use?
TTT...this is all a pantomime, designed for consumption by the Tory faithful.

Most of us can see through it and will vote out I'm sure.
Mikey, you really ought to remove yourself from that out-dated 'Following the leader' mind-set. For goodness sake! You've even said that you can see Jeremy Corbyn as Prime Minister! Make no mistake, the Tory faithful will make up its own mind - regardless of what its leader wants.
-- answer removed --
No Naomi...the Tories will tear themselves apart on this single issue, just as they have in the past. Boris and others are now circling, like hungry vultures,
just waiting for feeding frenzy.

My money is still on Boris by the way.
Mikey, A new leader, if that's what will be, doesn't necessarily equate to a political party tearing itself apart - unless of course that leader happens to be Corbyn - but you can continue to hope.

divebuddy, I've no doubt he knows - but he's a politician.

Got to go to bed. Night all.
Me too...nighty-nighty everybody.
Cameron had been compared to Chamberlain after Munich. Don't forget that only a year later he was forced to declare,"...no such assurance has been received and consequently...". Might Cameron repeat history here?
The EU would be quite right to tell Cameron to *** off. It's a club. You should abide by the same rules as every other member or leave, which is obviously what we should do, because we clearly don't like the rules.

We can't demand all the benefits of being in a union but refuse any of the drawbacks. We're not the SNP for godsakes.
I love the way the censorship robot takes my word beginning with P and completely stars it out so now everyone's thinking I said a worse word beginning with F.
^That's happened to me - and I don't swear! The word might have been 'hell', which was at that time on the prohibited list. I believe it's been taken off now - we shall see as soon as I press 'submit'.

Mikey; "TTT...this is all a pantomime, designed for consumption by the Tory faithful. " - could not agree more that is why I continue to suggest a more robust approach at getting results.
The Irish electorate voted against a proposed treaty and had to go and vote again to get the result the politicians wanted.
If the UK voters opt to go will their voices be heeded?

quite right sandy, it will be a neverendum anyway.
TTT...nice to see us agree once in a while !

We shall have to wait and see later on today, what bacon dave has managed to bring home. Personally I don't think it will be enough to scare off those vultures, but I might be wrong !
I do not see the connection between a philosopher and a container of liquid.

But that aside, DC is the Tories' lad. So presumably the supporters of what he is doing, the "anti British" if you will, who are silent, must be the Tory supporters ?
