It's brilliant filming but I keep having to watch through my fingers, in case one doesn't make it as I can't bear to see animals die (even though it's nature) I have now left Hubby watching it so he can tell me if there is any scene I wouldn't like, if not I will watch it I-Player.
I was enjoying it very much until the lone emperor penguin looked like he would be left alone to die - can't bear that sort of thing. Had to turn over.
Quizzy, had you stayed you'd have seen he made it to join the others; they had stopped to form a protective huddle when a snowstorm started and he then caught up with them. Did notice that the programme was not an Attenborough one; he has lonely animals dying or being eaten!
Caught up with it last, how wonderful and they are just so sweet, imagine the rock climbers going through all that bother. Can't wait for the next episode.
