I caught the last half hour of The Shawshank Redemption on the telly the other night and would like to watch the whole film.

I've tried ITV Player/Catch-up but it's not there.

I've typed "watch film for free" and that sort of thing into Google, got several sites that say I can watch it for free, but so far I've had no luck in actually getting the film on my computer screen. One site said it was free but asked for a credit card.

I can't buy the DVD as I have no player, and no video recorder either. :o(

Any ideas please peeps? Thanks a bunch. x

Yes, if I had a DVD player I would've bought it, probably watched it once then sold it on eBay.
you can watch DVD's on the pc

I guess you can on most. My netbook doesn't have a DVD drive.
There are a lot of sites that which are listing the movie for a 'free download'.

Hope this Google page works.:-

Thanks for that Ron, the link worked fine. I'd found a few sites saying you can watch it for free, but looking at HC's reply, I am now wondering if you are allowed to do so.

Oh well, I've already watched it for free, probably broken the law, so if I end up in the slammer, let's just hope it's not one like Shawshank. :o)
Here you are mrs.chappie - this s free

Sorry Triggs, didn't see you there. :o)

Yes, I believe it's been on a couple of times in the last week or so, it's quite an old film now, and I guess the tv companies struggle to find stuff to fill all the channels we have nowadays.

Cracking film. Have you seen it?
