Can they put in new metres and a standing charge without telling you that their will be a charge

Did you ask for a meter to be installed?
Did you choose the supplier?
who is they?
Who is 'they'? The electricity company or the site owner?

The site have installed the metres.
We were told that we were to have new metres and we would save 40% on our bill.
No idea who the supplier is the site don't tell us things like that.
My electricity costs about £6-oo pounds a week,just fridge , washer etc,it's mostly gas..
The cost of the new metre is £3-50 week plus vat, How that will save me 40% is not clear and the site won't tell me.
What does your site agreement say about choice of supplier?
