Leaving a marriage is not cheap.
Tell me about it... but peace of mind is priceless
You don't get peace of mind when you have nowhere to go to, with a 10 year old in tow, and no money of your own.

Who gets custody of the OWLS?????
Barmaid has given you the serious, and legally sound, advice (there's a bit of a clue in her name). The legal forum on here is not really for people's personal opinions on the character or lives of others, which you should ignore, but only for the law and the practice of it that applies to each case.
