Seems to me to be yet another thing some folk can get over-sensitive about. A few threads about over-sensitivity on the forums today. Who should care what pattern coat one wears ?

No/no.
No.
Only for crawling around the woods with twigs in my hair
I have worn army surplus stuff in my youth, there was a vogue for it. Yes I guess i would although probably not to walk my dogs as I like to be seen from a distance. Why do you ask?
every time i leave the house
I do not own one.

I have no prejudice against them if they do the job required and keep me warm & dry.

Dog walker was asked to remove the jacket in street for their safety.
No , but if I were in the army, then yes.
What ? In case the dog failed to spot him against the wall ?
I tried to buy a camouflage coat once but couldn't find one.
who asked that?
Vulcan. you can purchase them in the camouflage shop....................... not sure where it is though :(
No but then I work on an Army base. The only people who wear them not in the forces are people who wish they were and want to look tough, all a bit sad but that's my judgemental opinion.
No but I go commando, does that count?
I cant see anything, hopkirk !!

Woof, a jobsworth car attendant, publican & club bouncers ask for removal of jacket or hang over arm, inside out. Seems peeps find it offensive ?
I don't wear one or the matching over trousers for every day use i.e. walking down the high street.going to the pub etc.
My hobby/sport is long range full bore target rifle shooting. I find that a military jacket is usually very durable, warm, roomy and has loads of pockets to carry shooting ancillaries and ammunition. For me they are very practical for shooting on a wet muddy range in all weathers and conditions. They are also a cheaper option than Musto or Regatta (their civilian counterparts).
I only ever wear one for paintballing when it benefits you to stay hidden in woodland, or of course in the event of a zombie apocalypse or such like. Really not my style, however IF I did own one, I'd be stuffed if I'd take it off because someone told me to.
do they make one where doris can't see me in my chair?
