I have been using the same rechargeable batteries in my camera for 4 years .I have 4 in the pack but only use 2 at a time alternate. They were starting to lose there charge so I bought the same make 4 pack from wilkinsons 2000mah. I fully charged 2 and took 1 photo then next day batteries in camera were flat.I have not taken the other 2 out as they will see they have not been used.I fully charged them again and this morning they were flat after 1 photo. As it is batteries and I still have receipt can I get them exchanged.

I cannot believe all this over a set of possibly duff batteries. Wilkinsons will change or refund with no worries. End of.

I can personally reccommend the Aldi ones at £2.99 2300mah.
I am a wedding photographer and use them in my flash. Starting in the morning in brides house. on to church etc, and fill in flash outside. Speaches etc inside in a large...

They will exchange them but if in doubt look at the sale of goods act.
yes, take them back if you bought them recently.

although I'm not sure what the 2000mah means...
It means.......

On second thoughts, you're really not interested, are you?
Strength of battery
lol, okay.. OKAY!!

I thought it might have been a typo related to the year of purchase ;o)

I know.. don't tell me ;o)
Are they the same as your last ones ? If you have receipt and bought within the last 28 days then take them back..under sale of goods act...not fit for purpose...

I only bought them on Friday. But just wondered if they will exchange them as they could say they were the old ones but I have not taken the other 2 out as I would need to tear the pack to get them out.And they could be faulty as well. I will try anyway.
Question Author
Yes they are the same as the last ones and I still have them.
I would leave the second pack intact ...surely they wont argue over a couple of batteries !!
Yes take them back, I though for a second that you bought Wilkinsons own brand 'Wilco' . I was going to say they are cheap imitations .
Are you using the same charger with the new set? Just a thought that there may be a fault with the charger rather than the batteries.
Question Author
No they are the Energizer and 4 in the pack just under £8 for 4 and I would have to tear the cardboard to get the other 2 out. They are the same as the ones I have been using for 4 years. Charger is ok as it took normal time to charge. Thank you for reply and thanks everyone I will take them back and stand no nonsense.I was just concerned as it was batteries.
If they were dud batteries, your charger would not light up that they are charged, it would stay on red. Are you sure there is not a fault with the camera. Can you try recharging and putting the batteries in something else?
I got ultra max rechargeable batts 800mah...2 for £1 in poundland ..just as good as my expensive ones...lasting just as long !!
2000mah means the battery can supply a current of 2000 milliamps for 1 hour or 1000 milliamps for 2 hours etc. It is a measure of the electrical capacity of the battery. The 'strength' of a battery if such a term was used would be its ability to supply current or 'amps'. This multiplied by voltage gives the power.
murrymints that sounds good value, I will look in the £1 shop next time I go, need some batteries for my camera but I need a charger as well. Don't think I'll get that for £1.
you will you know !!!
800mah would not really be suitable for a digital camera.
Chuck that is what I was thinking 800mah is very low, these look good value and the site has excellent feed back.

Futher up on the same ebay page there is a charger and 2 batteries for £3.99 post free, I am goint to order both.
If I get that lot I can spare a few batteries for the wifes 'Rampant Rabbit' . That will be her Christmas present sorted ;-)
Not sure that a Rampant Rabbit will perform adequately with cheap batteries installed. Wife may end up disappointed.
