I'd leave it till the morning - it's nearly 10 o'clock
Gosh... I don't know the answer to that question, but the question itself took me back to when I used to drive into Xativa around march time and the smell of Cebollas de primavera (spring onions) used to fill my nostrils. Unlike the British versions, theirs were huge.

Parsley might struggle, cheat and buy a herb pot from the supermarket and plant out all the little planlts in a row.... you will get loads and it solves the problem of erratic germination.... same with the chives... spring onions no probs,, try the red ones too they look lovely in a salad...

Supermarkets are great for herbs to plant out. Much cheaper than garden centres!
Yep, I agree Lottie. I bought some of ours from Morrisons & they're doing very well so far. Mind you, my husband puts 'tomato feed' on most of our plants & they all thrive on it!
Yes, nothing like tomato feed Smudge. I use it for everything too!!
