I am thinking of getting a 50cm cooker..gap is 60cms..any advice please as to how to fill the gaps.

Having looked on the internet there is no really good solution to fill a 10cm gap or 2x5cm gaps. Just leave a 10cm gap & use it to store trays etc. or have a re-think & get a 60cm. cooker.

sharon, those are no good, they arefor the top, not  the sides.  just buy a 50 cm cooker

I would definitely go for the 60cm cooker

Get a bit of veneered MDF cut it to 100mm width. Fix a few L shaped brackets to the appropriate end and screw the board to the wall or adjacent unit, as appropriate.

 

Then sort the top out.

 

BTW maybe you can get a matching 100mm with unit instead.
