Any advice please? I'm thinking of having the above but I don't know who to ask re fitting it. My mind is saying a plumber but how would a deep sink affect my draining board on one side and a worktop on the other? I don't know if a plumber does this or would I need to get someone else to do it? Thank you.

Might be better to consult a kitchen fitter, jojo. Stands a chance that they may have fitted something similar before.

Thanks tonyav. I'll look for kitchen fitters to get prices!
just got rid of my butler sink, thank god, they are a nightmare!
Good luck jojo. I wanted a 'dropped' sink fitted but my fitter said I didn't have enough room underneath. Washing machine was in the way:-(
I grew up with a Belfast sink - 1940s and 50s. Why would you want one? So old fashioned. (imho!!!)
I'd go with a kitchen fitter as well.

Do you have a dish washer? I have a Belfast sink and the amount of crockery I've chipped is shocking!! Plus they are deep so you end up bending over to wash the dishes which aches the back!

(I could be mixing up Belfast and Butler sinks)
i had the builders in and they did a grand job of putting in my butler sink.
what Ummmm says. plus they are a bummer

Ooh I'm in a quandary now. I don't want chipped dishes or a bad back Ummm. Bedknobs says they're a nightmare. My dishwasher is next to my present sink. I had new doors, drawers and worktops installed last year plus a new sink but it's shallow hence my thoughts of a deeper sink. I'm making my kitchen look Country style or trying to. I'll think things over for now. Thanks again all.
mine is fine, and that's about 8 years on.
Had one ages ago and broke more crockery than you can imagine!
