A few minutes ago, I tipped a can of soup into a jug, added a bit of water, and ...

... caught the jug on the edge of the microwave ... and dropped the whole lot inside the microwave and down the front of the worktop.

Marvellous.

Olive is doing a clean up job. I'm keeping a low profile.

That didn't go as planned!

That is nothing, reaching for my electric mixer from on top the cupboards, it slipped my grip and promptly dropped on my head. Result is a big egg size bump that looks like it has come straight out of the cartoons!!!!

until you manage gravy leg - that's just a small mishap...

Gravy leg?
You shouldn't drink before your lunch. (I'd skip lunch)
JJ - could Olive also be employed as your cook/chef?

Fluffy - even thinking about that makes me cringe. Nearly as bad as when Princess Merlin set her bum on fire.

Gravy leg is pukey....
i tipped an entire pan of boiling hot gravy down my leg, it was thick so it stuck to my leg and pulled my skin off (apologies to anyone eating lunch and for bringing back the memories for those who have seen the pics)
Did you misunderstand the instructions when it told you to 'baste leg whilst cooking' ? :o)

For the slapstick image of dropping something heavy on her own head ...

BA for Shazza
Thanks Jayne, I think I'm concussed.
sounds like you should be whisked straight to hospital, Sharon.
Is the mixer alright?
Yes Shoota, thanks for your concern the mixer is ok.

I myself have a headache and apart from that ok!!!

Oh and Mr A has been mickey taking too and he will pay!
Phew, thank heavens - I was worried ;-)
turn the microwave on and then lick it clean ?
erm no licking whilst the microwave is in action of course
Wish I had an 'Olive'!!! Or even an 'Oliver'
Three x 200 mg of JJ to be taken in Olive's kitchen oil should clear the headache, Sharon.....
JJ..........I have tipped things over in the microwave as welll ! Its easy to catch the bowl as you put it in. But at least you have a nice clean microwave now !
one winter when living in Kent and with thick snow so lane was impassable and telephone wires down i somehow managed to set the microwave on fire. had to negotiate 2 rooms and 3 doors to get to outside to dump it in the snow. I was little concerned.
