I cant see a reason why not actually, but I wouldn't go out of my way to do it if I had a perfectly good cooker.

Theoretically it is possible for the heat reached in a dishwasher to cook certain foods, and I can remember this being done on TV back in the 70s. However, it's a question of tools and jobs. Like, you can unscrew things with a sharp chisel. But screwdrivers are better. So you can cook some things in a dishwasher, but probably end up clarting up the outflow with food residue.

And no, I don't fancy trout a la indesit.
no.
Well, I am presuming that you 'Finish'ed it......
No. I saw a salmon dish cooked in a dishwasher on TV years ago. Can't see the point. I'd rather do it in the oven.

How many plaice settings can you get in your dishwasher, inky....?
Oh grumble groan DT!
But you like it, mosaic!
no way !! i couldnt anyway as the only dishwasher I have in the house is Mr Lozzer ;) ha ha ha
I wouldn`t like the idea of it and there is no way of regulating the cooking temperature.
