The old Klear that you suggest is not made any more, as far as I am aware. It has been replaced by some "new improved" version - which is anything but. It is very slippery, almost to the point of being dangerous.
(It is nice and shiny though!) |

and Klear leaves a residue on the tiles, which goes brown in time, and is hell to remove!.....best to wash the tiles, and then rinse with clean water.......

strip off any old finish with a scourer and a solution of water detergent and cloudy ammonia (wear tough gloves) and ventilate room well then when dry clean again with fresh water when dry as your sealer/shiner/polish

I use only hot water on our shiny tiles and the mop is squeezed out well before mopping!

kleeneze do a non slip floor polish that is quite decent, my daughters all use it with no problems, and its better than the old klear stuff.
