Why are some people obsessed with skin colour, Atheist? Could it be that is the whole point of "Black" history, using our differences to divide us, when we could be sharing so much of our common humanity, rather than these racial stereotypes promulgated by BLM and suchlike?

You are not allowed them, it is waycist.
This has to be a troll :-)

You are far too intellligent not to see the difference.
they're everywhere. Start in Trafalgar Square, and see how much white history you know
'Where Are The White History Statues?'

Everywhere. Apart from Bristol.
Oh come on, TTT. Even I could give you a list. :-)
wotchoo talking about, ZM? There are plenty of statues of while folks in Bristol - but none them were slavers, unless there's something I don't know about Cary Grant

white, not while, of course
Sorry, I forgot the ;-)
Just to name a few:

The statue of Christopher Columbus situated in Belgrave Square Gardens, a gift to London from the people of Spain in 1992 to commemorate the 500th anniversary of Columbus's expedition to the New World.

At The Guards Crimean War Memorial is a statue of Florence Nightingale, a hero of that war.

Or, how about the statue of Yuri Gagarin, the Russian cosmonaut at the Royal Observatory in Greenwich, a gift to the British Council from the Russian space agency Roscosmos.
there's a statue of Francis Drake at Greenwich. And for those who can't make up their minds, Cromwell is outside Parliament and Charles I is at the other end of Whitehall.
Billy Bremner is outside Elland Rd. Midst you, he's in bronze so he looks quite 'tanned'.
*mindst
History is history. The very idea of different skin colour history is horribly racist. No doubt there'll be a green history statue soon then.
Why are some people obsessed with skin colour?
And why are some people obsessed with teasing other people? It's all rather pathetic and puerile. At least it would be if the teasers were 5-year-old teasers rather than 'grown-up' spit-stirrers who are trying to drive wedges between decent people. Why do you saddos do it?

Even the Birmingham golden boys ( fathers of technology) statue will have a plaque added giving details of the Watt family connection to the slave trade.
Sadly the statue of Michael Jackson is no longer with us.
Banished from Craven Cottage, it went on a free transfer to the National Football Museum in Manchester, before being melted down to make replica Dinky Pope-mobiles sold in the Vatican Gift shop.
Stable... This post is about 'White History'. Black history and White history are rather silly constructs. Some people object to black or white statues because they take offence at the colour of the metal used in the casting, or the subtle shapes of eyes and lips.
I think that some people feel insulted or inferior because they see a lump of bronze with the wrong colour or shape. This life should be more about humanity, not sirring division between people.
Question Author
Yes, as usual the lefties get the wrong end of the stick, there are plenty of black statues too we are not talking about those we are talking about the whole concept. Well done stableford 19:45 BA. This is about certain factions being determined to highlight racial differences, ie racism.
