Instant Hot Water

Our combi boiler is in the loft so when running hot water in the kitchen or downstairs bathroom the whole pipe run has to empty of cold before any hot appears at the tap. More importantly, it means that when the tap is turned off that entire length of pipe has expensively heated water sitting in it.
Is there a cost effective (electrically powered) device that can be fitted under the sink to provide "instant" hot water?
Thanks for your time.

Have a look at the Quooker website.

Very interesting, thank you both.
My combi is at the other end of the house to the kitchen (but near bathrooms). I have a 10L under the sink electric heater which is ideal for washing up etc
Do you then add cold water to your bath? So you would be defeating the object.
I was looking at those Quooker things myself the other day, they look fab but a bit on th pricey side.
I love our Quooker. I thought it was an expensive indulgence but it really is brilliant.
You're making me jealous Eccles, tea without boiling the kettle.

I've misled you malagabob, it's not for the bath but for handwashing and dishes.
The Quooker stuff looks the biz EcclesCake, we'll need to start another savings jar. :)
I'm grateful for all your replies.

Keep in mind electricity costs about 3 times as much as gas pet Kwh so using electricity my turn out to be a false economy.
per Khw....

No pets were harmed in the making of my previous answer.
but doesn't the qooker provide boiling water? you wouldn't want to wash your hands under it? or is there a temperature control?
I think Chuck meant ... per kWh
