Well, there's an odd rule of thumb about playboy stuff ...

Girls can buy it for themselves (coz we think it's fun and flirty) ...

But guys shouldn't really buy it for us ... (coz it says "stereotype).

The necklace idea is a lovely thought ... you're a very thoughtful boyfriend. But maybe lose the bunny?

No, not for a 16 year old. The Playboy club still has sleazy connotations to me.
a Playboy bunny? No. She's your girlfriend, not Hugh Hefner's.
It popular with girls that age, it was when I was at school as well. They kept getting playboy bunny tattoo's which they all regret now... It's pretty enough though.
Looks a bit on the cheap and tacky side to be honest.
a 16 year old. yes i think she would like it.
Is he advertising?
Yes, I think it's a great present, I'm sure she'll love it:)

I think he is. Just had another look at his profile and the link he provided.
I have seen quite a few things with the playboy bunny on them for sale watches, rings etc. It depends what sort of jewellery she likes really. Not my sort of thing, but I think she may like whatever you choose to buy for her if you are close.
The heart on a chain is great, the playboy bunny cheapens it - IMO
Anything playboy = girl who's easy = no!
Agree with JJ - it would be a lovely necklace without the bunny.

Otherwise not best idea

I like that. Basically, girls can act like a stereotypical girl, but boys are not allowed to notice :-)
I agree with the others.

Although girls that age might like playboy stuff themselves, it screams cheap, tacky, sluttish.

Get her a nice heart necklace without the bunny.
If I was 16 and a boyfriend bought me that I would be delighted. It's pretty, bunny and all. I think the playboy bunny has lost it's sleazy connection. There are a lot of playboy bunny items about these days.

16 year olds are not that interested in whether things are classy or not.
No Hugh Hefner has built his empire on sleaze and buying it gives him an endorsement and no doubt he profits by any sales with his logo on - your girlfriend must be worth more than that cos you are such a nice boy - - just look up the other answers most say it's lovely but lose the bunny and they are right - well done you for seeking advice your girl friend is a lucky girl AND please let us know what you get her x
