I start early so I can collapse in a heap with a large drink Christmas eve and actually enjoy the celebrations with everyone else...

I am trying to convince a colleague to give me her recipe for her west indian christmas rum cake its to die for.... mind you she only charges a tenner for them so might just invest in one

We usually have the hangover after eating it, but that could be from the other alcohol needed to wash it down...

They all sound really nice!!! Perhaps a 'Christmas cake' recipe section within the Seasonal Christmas section with everyones recipes? Not Christmassy enough just in recipes ..

Ed sounds like a good idea...I will be looking for variations on mince pies soon although my bakewell tart versions are pretty delish...
And different ways of stuffing the christmas bird...
I don't mind sharing my recipe book with folks
