Why is Ribena so much more expensive than other brand squashes that contain the same sort of vitamins?

Wasn't there some recent research which proved that....surprise....Ribena contains hardly any vitamin C.?...Tastes good though, I agree.

because people pay for it?
Dunno, but how delicious is it?

We only get it when it's on offer though :-(
2 for 1 in sainsburys at weekend
no other blackcurrant squash tastes like ribena. you're paying for its uniqueness not the vitamin content.
Isn't drinking ribena as bad as drinking coke? I know I only like the strawberry ribena but rarely drink it because it has so much sugar in.
I agree with Eth and you can get sugar free as well. I haven't had it for years, but nothing tasted quite the same.

It's probably because it's the only blackcurrant squash made with little berries with faces that sing and dance

china, i think most if not all squash has loads of sugar in it, unless it's the diet version. i've recently stopped drinking pure apple juice because of the amount of (natural) sugar and therefore calories it contains too.
I like the robinsons pink grapefruit barley one at the moment but I admit I've not checked the sugar levels on it which I should probably do. I do tend to check the labels now.
pink grapefruit squash is delish, we buy asda no sugar version.
Nothing wrong with water. No calories!! Actually, I don't like squash at all any more of any variety because they all taste sweet to me. The older I get the less I like sweet things. I haven't noticed myself getting any slimmer though! :o(
that's all i drink lately lottie, and a cup of coffe in the morning to wake me up. and maybe a cup of tea mid afternoon depending...
bought some redbush tea today but wasn't overly keen, a bit liquorice tasting. however, will persevere and see if i get used to it.
I drink water at work, get a bit giddy after work and want something with a bit of flare so get the good stuff out... well, the grapefruit squash.... I have wine tonight though when I have dinner, I'm counting the grapes as one of my 5 a day and not checking the sugar content ;0)
I just keep drinking loads of black tea all day. Three cups first thing followed by top ups. Drink quite a bit of water too.

I used to love Ribena but I've just gone off it now. I prefer Lime or Elderflower cordial now. Very refreshing on a hot day with sparkling water.
I like Make Mine a Builders tea, someone on AB said it was good, and it IS!:) (oops sorry, thats not much to do with Ribena is ti)
I prefer Waitrose Blackcurrant Hi Juice, it tastes more blackcurranty than Ribena and isn't as sweet.
