I had worked out who the girl in the shed was but my main theory was totally wrong!

It was riveting!

I think the series was as much to do with the effect on the family and those around them as it was a crime serial. This was also the case in the first series.

I was utterly convinced he was not until the end. I think he saw the way things were going at could not face them. Whether these events brought on the condition or if faked is difficult, I think faked but he has either a life sentence of faking or having to confess his involvement. He can still be proven implicit because Alice/Sophie is still alive and could say that he was the one who showed her a photo and told her to name the butcher.

Yes, Alice does know of his involvement. I am sure that Eve suspects it too. I think he was faking knowing he would not be charged because of his mental health.

Liked the scene when the butcher was released........no running into outstretched arms!

The ripples spread out to affect a lot of people. The look on the butchers face and the turn away spoke volumes without a word spoken. Superb script.
