2 mugs of flour.
^From a master scone maker. ;o)
if you have a tablespoon 1 level tablespoon flour = 15g flour
1 heaped tablespoon flour = 28g flour, which would be about 8 heaped for your recipe.
225g of flour is about 530ml
1 gram = approximately 1ml so 225g would equal 225 ml so you could use your measuring jug.
The answers from danny and Calibax differ by roughly a factor of 2.

Danny assumes the density of flour is the same as that of water; a bit high ,I think, so I would go with Calibax.
I'd put 9 heaped table spoons. About right
If it's a 500g bag of flour you could use about half of it.

The safest way is to buy some scones.
Ignored the 'master' baker, then. ;-(
...."buy some scones"?......or, buy some scales!
