Hello! There's one thing that has been bothering me for a while... My boyfriend does this thing that makes me as an anxious person very uncomfortable.
For example: he might suddenly put me against the wall and start strangeling me. Literally putting hes hands on my neck and presses. I know that he could never hurt me, but this thing... sudden " violent" things that he does makes me really anxious and panic like.
I personally don't like to been hold the way that I can't literally get away, strangelt, having objekts like baseball bats next to my face like he's about to hit me etc.
I don't know if this is some kind of sexual thing for him, but it's really not fine for me and I have told him that.

Sorry for the long intro. Now the actual question:
What is the line between normal " playful" actions and actual assault? I don't know what to do.

He is asserting his dominance over you in a physical way. 1/ this is totally unacceptable behaviour, showing no respect for your person. 2/this may well be the thin end of the wedge so to speak. He has very violent tendencies, that are at the moment suppressed, but could easily get worse causing you serious harm. 3/ Gradually fade him out, decreasing your time...

Totally unacceptable behaviour .He sounds like a control freak .
Leave him.
Personally I would knee him in the knackers
Here's what you do , get as far away as possible.
He's crossed the line. Run.
I would leave but not before following Shaney's advice......x

Please ditch him.

All answers seem quite good I have to say that. It also seems to be one of the very few options at the moment. He has always been a little different and I have known it from the very start, but this became as an suprise later on...
You dont half sound familiar .. the Police often sent me to secure a property after a domestic violence incident.
Having heard similar words on many occasions from victims, I've got to say 'the ball is in your court' .. and if you dont end it, your next question may be " Do I have a case for actual bodily harm" .

Sometimes I was the first one in .... after the evidence has been collected and the body has beeen removed !
/// I know that he could never hurt me ///

God knows how many girls/women have had cause to regret saying that. ;-(
//I know he could never hurt me//...//sudden violent things that he does//..
What he has done to you IS ASSAULT.
It is enough to get him convicted. Get out now before he seriously hurts you.
The fact that he has caused you to panic and fear for your safety is enough to get him convicted and possibly even jailed. GET OUT !!!!
I have nothing new to say that the others haven't already, but I wanted to put another voice to the urge to leave him. This is in no way normal behaviour and is far beyond the line of playful. Please leave him.
He is trying to find out how much you are prepared to tolerate. You must make it quite clear this is not something you are prepared to tolerate, and by far the best way to do it is to leave.
Otherwise his behaviour is certain to escalate, since he is clearly beginning to enjoy his violence.
Don't wait to pack, just go and do not leave a forwarding address.
