i have a collins english dictionary & thesaurus,desktop plus edition.i have had it for about 3 years but it is notwrking very good now,it was a top of the range one my sons bought me(about £80 squid)i tried to see if i can get one in curries but everything i put in says it cant help,what am i doing wrong??

yes somthing like that but the one i have has=
desktop plus
concise thesaurus
crossword solver dictionary
mini dictionaries
history and geography answers
capital cities etc and a lot more,i think that is why it was so expensive,but i'm willing to spend uto £100 pounds for a good one,i love this one but its done its time

chrissa that looks good ,has it got any of the stuff i mentioned,also how often do you change the batteries,mine just eats them,i have to replace them every 2 weeks or so.
It has a dictionary, thesaurus, quotations, solver xwords, anagrams, puzzles ie lists of everything you could want.
The thing I like best is that it guesses what you are about to type so it's really quick.

It uses 1 AAA battery and I use it every day and I can't remember when I changed the battery.
