Do I Go Out Or Stay In Tomorrow?

My friend wants to go out tomorrow but wants to go to hers for 6 but I'm just thinking about money aswell taxi to hers then to town and back or go out with my parents.

Why don't you suggest that she comes to your house for 6and then go out together front there in a taxi?

She can't always have things her own way and she needs to know that would help you out, otherwise tell her you can't afford to go out

Nothing wrong with going out with parents though and staying local. Even when I was your age I found NYE too manic and squashed everywhere. You might have better evening.

It may be different in your area but where I live but no-one will get a taxi tomorrow night without having booked it already unless they wait for hours.

I'd either stay in - or go our locaally with my parents.  You have little money.  You are not certain of finding a job. Hang on to the cash you have.  I have rarely gone out for N.Y.Eve, we always had family parties/visitors.  Nothing wrong with celebrating quietly; which is what we shall be doing.

I would love you to spend some time with your parents. Tell them how troubled you are, and that you need their support. Then 2024 might be better for you.

It's not just the cab back and forth...the booze will cost a fortune. Money you don't have.
