I took 5k from Bank of Scotland with only passport and security questions.....not my own branch either, take as much as you can ;passport,drivers licence etc etc etc

One could but try. I suppose it does have a photo. But if I were bank manager I think I might baulk at handing over £2 grand simply because someone found a dropped licence and they happened to look something like the photo. Have you any other way to prove who you are ?

I've withdrawn money using only my passport as ID so I don't see why not.

They will probably ask security questions about your account to check who you are. Dates amounts and other details of recent transactions for example that only you could know.

the only problem i have is that im not really known by face except for 1 branch. i just wanted to know whether there is a maximum amount that i can withdraw and i hope that it is not under the £2000 mark. i have withdrawn previously with my driving licence but i only withdrew £300
