you may want to go to a local lettings agency or walk down the main street and see what is vacant, how far the parking is etc!

Don't want to teach my granny to suck eggs, but have you looked at your finances? My husband has a shop/showroom and whilst his is really cheap for the area it can still be difficult to find the rent each quarter.

Hi Zwanda, I know I am a bit late in posting my response and you may have had better luck by now.
I use Shopproperty.co.uk as quite a good search engine. I just use the free part of their service. You will need to register with them to see the shops available. Another thing you can do but it does mean incurring a cost, is to get a Commercial Agent to do the searching for you. They will often search for the unit and negotiate the entire transaction for you, for a fixed fee. They often know about units that will be becoming available before they are advertised to market.
