My estranged sister has had an accident and her husband has subitted an application for EPOA. I have received a notice of intention as have my other brother and sisters. Is this normal, I thought her adult children would be notified not the siblings? My sisters daughter has now had her mum move into her house so she can look after her as her husband is carrying on with this life as if nothing has happened. My sisters husband has his own company of which I think my sister is a director of. Sorry if I sound sceptical but I don't want her husband 'ripping off' her family. They have 7 children, 4 are from my sisters previous marriage. They hve been married for 30 years.

By the way the husband signed an EPA in September 2007.
Sounds like the husband is using a solicitor and the family is still involved. Why are you worried?
