swine flu, anyone had a second attack!!!!!!!

hi, my 16yr seem to have the same symptons as last time, he was treated an stayed in bed for 7 days,
but it seems worse this time, has anyone been in the same position, pls advice, thanks in advance

This is the problem with this outbreak of flu, swine flu can only be diagnosed by viral studies and these are not being employed, leaving the only diagnostic tool for swine flu as "assumption", not a very scientific approach.

The only thing that we can say with certain about your son, is that he has had two attacks of viral origin, one of which may have been swine flu.

Treat this as you would any flu problem, that is bedrest, fluids and Pararcetamol.
