How long do sutures in the mouth take to dissolve? I`ve had mine for 3 weeks after having 4 front teeth out.

If they are present after 3 weeks, I would go back to see your dentist and have them removed. After this time, they will impair healing, due to the accumulationb of plaque bacteria. Having them removed is no issue as it only takes a few seconds!

They don't actually dissolve, but become loose as the gums heal and become detatched.
I had some under my tongue recently and like Den said, they become loose and fall away. I think I swallowed one.
OMG V......rofl - dont swallow Tich ;)
